Just for info's sake. This was a "under the counter" release done by the fellow who ran "Cineavision", or, being that he passed on, his son may have been the person to release this. In other words, not an official Star Wars feature print. However, it does have these plus's. 1. It was printed on LPP film stock, so it won't fade anytime soon. 2. It is the very first release of Star Wars, so you don't get the whole "Episode 4'" scroll. This is the original, unretouched by George Lucas 1977 Star wars, some of the dialogue is not the later re-issues. I happen to have this as well. It doesn't have the color saturation of the Derann scope print, but it has the original color spectrum, is in mono ( which if I were you, I'd keep), but it's only downside is that it was printed ever so slightly bright. It doesn't harm most of the print, but the scenes on Tatooine are a little too bright. Another plus is that it is the full 35mm full aspect ratio of the original image, the complete square, so you are not losing info on the top and bottom of the image. Hope this helps

Well now...this is certainly a can of worms.
Doug, if you want to move some of this to a different thread away from sales that maybe a good idea in the interest of future reference regarding the origin of various Star Wars prints and most definitely of future discussion and interest I think?
Osi, I know both you and I are both Star Wars fans, but I believe that this print for sale originated from another source that had it made a few years back.
That said, and I cannot in any way categorically stand by this, but I'm fairly confident that this one wasn't a "Cineavison" print.
And certainly nothing to do with Kempski. I shudder the thought of the seller who even mentioned that name in order to sell it on.
