Hi all I've been working on this machine for sometime now but have hit another problem on treading the film the film will not pass the sound head it hits it and then will not pass I have tried a small piece of film manually pushing it passed but it's very tight any ideas were I should look.
is there any adjustments that can be made?
thanks in advance..
Barry
Hi Barry, Please let me know if you are getting my direct emails. Regarding the threading problem, when you go into the load film mode the mechanism is set up to open the sound gate area by dropping down the pressure pads that hold the film on the heads part #759-1860 on page 5 of the parts list I sent you, also check the fingers on that part that hold the film in place some times they get bent. when you release the load mode and go to project the part 759-1860 moves up and the fingers push the film onto the heads. You need to check if all the leavers are free to move, sometimes the old grease goes hard and the parts can't move their full travel. hope this helps.
