Optical sound feature seller on ebay ...

I have run across an ebay seller in the UK, that is selling some optical sound features, such as City Heat, but please scroll down to the item description section, and it turns out that he is selling separate reels from optical sound features, so, with a film like city heat, you would have to buy three auctions of his to have the full feature. Please note, he does state in the description that it's only a part of the feature, so he is not lying in the auction, but if you were to not read the description, and assume from the title that it's the feature, you will be disappointed, needless to say. I do not know who the seller is.

I have just looked at the listings.

It seems that Reel #1 is missing from all three features ( City Heat, Memories of Me and The Hot Rock) and in the case of City Heat reel #3 is also missing.
Unless I am missing something here, like all 3 reels of each film WERE originally listed and I just missed them, I cannot really blame the person for listing each reel individually. As Ossie mentions, the seller DOES mention it is only a reel from the feature so deception is not intended.
Don't forget, it can be helpful to be able to buy an odd reel if one has the other two. For example, I have the first two of the three reels of Lethal Weapon. The chances of finding #3 on its own is probably zero but I live in hope. As they say, "never say never."

Not optical, but I did manage to find the reel I needed from "Hello Dolly" at CHC on one visit. I doubt that I will find the missing reel of "The Sound of Music" that I need there on Sunday though!
