  • Frankenstein 1970 ...

I just ran into this really neat black and white scope trailer for this feature film, and it's rare enough to run into black and white scope trailers, but even rarer to find a latter day Boris Karloff trailer, period. My question? Who released this on Super 8?

Tagging Adrian Winchester as he could well have the answer to this.

Ironically named "Frankenstein 1970", as this was made in the late 50's.

Which confused the heck out of me as a kid. 1970? Why isn't it in color?

I'm still left to wondering as to who released this on Super 8? Until I bought this reel, I didn't know it existed on Super 8. I can confirm that it's black and white on black and white film stock, so, probably before the 80's

Twas filmed in just 8 days at Warners. Back in the day the VHS was very much sought after by hard core collectors.
Today Warner Archive have a new scan onto Archive bloo ray spinning disc things.
