  • Jumpy 8mm film

Hi. I just got some standard 8mm film back and the last 30 seconds of it were pretty jumpy. I'm guessing it's a fault in the camera and there is probably nothing I can do. Unless, I'm not thinking of something. I use a Yashica 8mm camera. Can this problem be fixed with editing software?

Hi Josuha... It might be helpful to post some of the jumpy footage to help and identifying what the problem might be. Some stabilization can be done in post if the jumpy images are not too bad. However severe movement would be difficult to correct.

Sorry that took me a longer time to respond than I thought. I can't seem to be able to upload any video clips to this forum.
