Thank you for the reply. Now with your information link and the link below. I have come to the opinion that this particular projector is from the production run 1932 or 1933. There are slight differences that can be accredited to improvement of the product and packaging with the later years. It seems compared to the 50's of this time period that I have found. Mine could be considered in highly exceptional condition with case. There were things on the link you sent that needed corrected. It list the wattage at 300 when it was 400 this and production started in 1932. I believe these early productions might have been meant for institutions in conjunction with the educational films Kodak was producing and not the general public. This could explain the production discrepancy with the one on site.

Derek, your post caught my eye. I have a Kodascope Model 50 8mm projector that looks like your machine. It also is from the 1930's as I recall. I also have a Keystone model E-65 from that period which is a hand crank 16mm which used an ordinary household light bulb. The one thing both projectors have in common is that the lamp covers are missing.

this one I bought is complete with the exception of the face plate of the plug. I'm not a pro yet, I believe the way to tell if it was manufactured before 34 is the reference red dots. Meaning if they are missing on the lens side it is an early production. Now that I noticed that difference I'm going to delve into their purpose and why they would have been left off on one side. The Motor and base on mine having the number of 605 leads me to believe this was the 605th one made. put together in 1933. My lens is also lacking of any numbering. I will have to be selling it and am trying to come up with decent providence influencing my asking price. Well what I wish to get out of it.
