If any of your prints are Walton ones, I've still a few of my Walton boxes available.

I've also just taken delivery of some rather nice 600ft feature boxes - the plain white card type that Derann used to use for their 3 x 600ft and 4 x 600ft features. They will be available at Blackpool ( https://blackpoolfilmconvention.co.uk ) priced at £5.50 each or four for £20.

I forgot which box it is, as I went into the brick-and-mortar and bought it. I think they called it a "gift box".
It is the exact size to fit 400 foot reels, but it is tall and can hold about 8 or so Super 8 reels. You can always cut it down, I guess.

Probably not a brick-and-mortar in the U.K. though.
Other than the height, the one I got had the exact dimensions of other Super 8 boxes I have. Probably only useful/economical for features on multiple 400 foot reels.
Dave Thomas used to sell Super 8 boxes. (Don't know if he is still in business and/or is on eBay.) Perhaps Steve Osbourne now has them. I think I've seen U.S. sellers on eBay selling Super 8 boxes.Last edited by Brian Harrington; October 05, 2024, 04:03 PM.

You can also buy these white boxes from Splicit. They are made for 7" reel to reel audio tapes, but work great for Super 8 400 ft reels, same size. Plus these are hinged. They sell for $ 3.49 a piece.
