Bell & Howell Dual Filmosound Eight model 468A no sound.
Hi,
I just brought in Bell & Howell Dual Filmosound Eight Model 468A. I tested the machine and the projector lamp works fine but there is no sound. Could anyone possibly help suggest where I should address the issues?
Thx.
Janice is correct. Sound playback on the B&H 468A requires a cassette recorder/player that uses a sync pulse to establish synchronization. The Filmosound system involved using a B&H camera with the model 450 tape recorder plugged in to capture the audio.
Thank you Janice and Douglas. I never knew this B&H model doesn't have built in audio sound system. I also own B&H filmosound model 457A which I think it is also a silent projector.
