Revere 85 bulb installation

The bulb on my projector won't depress, so i can't turn it to lock in. Any idea how to fix this. I tried to put a screw driver in to depress but still not working correctly. Anthony

If there's corrosion inside the lamp housing, that may be the issue! Try squirting some contact cleaner inside the housing to see if it loosens things up, it's worth a try!

Hi Anthony,

The best-case scenario for your local Revere projector repairman is he is down in Florida, retired 30+ years now. We are kind of like people that own old cars: you need to be your own mechanic!

I think Shane makes a good case here. You can find contact cleaner at Home Depot.

-and when you are done, let it air out for a day before you apply power.

If nothing else, we can probably help you find a new socket and do the replacement.
