Hi, My projector appears to be stuck in Reverse. It was working fine but now when I try to feed to film in it does not work. After looking at it I noticed that the part that moves the film past the lens was going in reverse. The rest of the controls and gears appear to be working correctly. What would cause this?

Is it possible I messed this up by trying to remove the belt? (Which by the way I still have not figured out an easy way to remove). I ended up just twisting the belt to make it just a little tighter. Trying to remove the belt I loosened the set screw on the fly wheel thinking the fly wheel would move enough to get the belt off. The fly wheel did move some but not enough to get the belt off. When I tightened the set screw on the fly wheel it all seemed to work except the film would not feed because the claw was running in reverse mode. Any Ideas? Attached is a pic of the fly wheel circled in blue. Also, does anyone know how to remove the belt?1 Photo
