I have a few B&H zoom lenses from the 60s that I would like to dismantle for lens fungus removal. As anyone been able to disassemble one of these? How did you do it? I see no retaining rings nor screws on the sides of the barrel .

Beware, some of them were made by Kodak and they lacquered everything dead closed. You can put a lens in solvents and wait until the old dry lacquer has become soft enough so that you can loosen the retaining bushes but that sometimes calls for an expanding mandrel you can actuate from behind. Sometime you have only a millimeter or so for an attack.
On the other hand, once you’re at it already, you could continue with solvents to separate the fungus-infected group(s). After cleaning recement with a modern glass cure or old style Canada balsam.
