Having been a GS 1200 nut since 2014
I pulled out from storage my original 1987 brand new purchased ST 1200 D machines that haven't been used faithfully since before 1992. They were put aside for a pair of HD units and I still have those, too.
Anyways one at a time I pulled them out of the cases and powered them up.
Sitting for almost 20 years.
RAN PERFECTLY with good booming sound, both mag and optical!
I've ordered new belts for preventative care.
But WOW! Just when I thought they wouldn't do anything without massive rebuild..........................
