Hello all. I pray you are all well and projecting lots of REEL film.
No been on here for ages, and only recently recovered from a small dose of Cancer. Normal service has now resumed, although I've now broken a toe to celebrate.
Anyway. Pleased to report the special import 400ft of Alien will shortly complete, and as most will know you can join your Dorun Films 200ft onto the end. All together it will make a 36 minute reel +/- and a very good watch.
I will finish this review of the 400ft once I have taken some high res images off screen to go with it so watch this space.
Can I just give a brief mention to Movie Magnetic who have produced some stunning magnetic stripe over the years, akin to Kodak I would say. The stripe will take very high levels indeed and a precious quality service for Super 8 fans.
The 400ft is available only from The Reel Image and you can still reserve a print I believe yay!
I wont go into the S8 film in full detail as I feel it would spoil your enjoyment if you are on the wait list. However, it condenses the mail part of the film similar to the now ancient old 17 minute reel and of course now is much longer telling a fuller story. It includes tiles which leads us into the main storyline which is pretty much action packed.
This film is a great title for your Halloween shows perhaps although enjoyable anytime.
