Gunier, "Gulliver's Travels" did actually make it onto super 8, but it is incredibly hard to find as a low fade print, almost all the copies were printed on quick fade Eastman.😞

Derann did have it on their catalogue (The Little Mermaid one) with Hoppity Goes to town in LPP days. I have an LPP copy of Hoppity. I saw a box for Gulliver at CHC some time ago but it only has 3 of the 4 reels in it.

Big thanks to Jim Seaburg for alerting me to a Standard 8 sound print of THE GIANT CLAW! A beautiful print from eBay France with no splices. While it does contain the dialogue scenes that are missing from the Super 8 version, there is a narrator that yaps through about 70% of the film (he literally says "the scientists are eating sandwiches and drinking coffee" while they are doing just that). While I'm grateful to have this print, it shows that there are at least 3 different versions of this digest.

Brian, I wonder if that Gulliver that you saw was a French version, that was 3X400ft? It has great low fade color, but obviously edited.

No, I'm sure it was the Derann print, with a missing reel. I looked at it too.

It was in four 400ft boxes taped together and one box was empty. Phil said he should have it somewhere, but we didn't have time to check the whole shop.
