  • Chinon 9500 autoload issue ...

I have a Chinon 9500 that, when autoloading the film, the mechanism, right before the magnetic sound assembly, the mechanism that creates the loop that goes into the sound head assembly, while working, doesn't loop quite enough, causing the film to not enter into that assembly. Is it a matter of a spring? To clarify, if, when autoloading , I turn it to autoload, the loop mechanism snaps into position, but "not enough", but if I open up that front cover, give a gentle push to that looping mechanism, it loads all the way thru just fine, so it is a slight adjustment, but I don't know exactly what to adjust and where. Can I fix this? Any advice?

Just thought I'd bump this up, so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle. If I can, I'd like to do a fix on this issue, as, quite frankly, it brings up the resale value. The projector is being sold "as is", and it does most certainly run, but if I can improve on it, it makes for a happier customer and a better sale overall.
