I would certainly be interested if you are able to come up with some Eumig scope brackets!

      Hi Alan,

Please explain how the Elmo ST leveling foot works?

The World in general doesn't actually realize it, but what Our World needs is a selection of Elmo guides, maybe cast in metal, to replace the plastic ones in places where wear becomes a problem.

When an adjustable leveling foot is not possible use a 25 cent coin. With a little patience it works well and is super cheap! You probably already have it!!!!!

Hi Steve, the existing feet on the projector reset into the new legs which have leveling adjustments on all four corners. There is adhesive so they stay in place once attached. Simple in design, why didn't Elmo think of that. Once you try them you can't live without them.

Regarding the Elmo guides, we are definitely aware of the need for this, we have some things in the works. Our goal is to provide a solution where possible.

            Feel free to contact us.

              Alan,

This is very exciting! It’s wonderful to see new brackets, adaptors and rollers on the market.

I would certainly be interested in metal guides to replace the green plastic ones on the GS 1200. Also the lower tensioner solution. Is that a roller on a jockey arm. I would be a customer for that.

Metal guides for the GS 1200 are available here, albeit quite expensive...

Alan, although sadly I don't really use my ST1200 any more, it always used to lean left at the back and I would have to prop in cardboard under one of the back feet.

That levelling device is such a professional solution. Much kudos for manufacturing such a product; can't wait to see what you come up with next.

                      For the GS 1200 owners

I would love to see a front door hinge assembly kit, which would include a new hinge, as well as the front retaining screw that goes in near the film trimmer. It is a nuisance when the hinge breaks at this type of accessory kit shouldn't be that much money to produce or sell and most of us could install it

I think something really beneficial would be the guide that goes past the lower sprocket on the ST-1200s being made wearproof. This STs greatest strength also gets it in trouble: it plays 1200 Foot reels so it gets more hours more easily than an 800 foot or 600 Foot ST. This guide is a common wear point that damages films. Among my STs, the profile of the guide at this point is the same for all of them, yet only on the 1200 have I had wear issues there.

The biggest problem here is we expect these old machines to still be on the job at an age where they might have grand-projectors in high school! Anything else built back then would be excused for being in a landfill 20 years ago.

(Next time you are out on the road, try counting the 1975-1979 cars you see!)
