Sadly still no word of the cinemas here showing it in 3D, I can't figure out why they wont, or is it simply they not interested, as my thinking is it would be a real money spinner for them if they did it....
The popularity of 3D has been fluctuating for the last 75 years. Cinema owners don't like the added hassle of 3D glasses, and the only option for home users is a 3D projector since nobody makes 3D TV's any longer. Streaming is killing off physical media, so the selection of 3D titles on disc is limited. A 3D release of Jaws might not have a large enough audience to justify a release. Meanwhile we are offered 3D releases like this:
