* Found the solution. One doesn't pull that crank out but rather screw it in a counter clock wise direction, which simply removes it. Clockwise will reinstall it. And by the way it is not an H8 but an M8 Bolex Standard 8mm Projector.

I'm having trouble *pulling out the removable rewind crank on my Bolex H8 projector. I try pulling it but it won't budge. Am I missing something in how to release it? Any solutions?
