Help replacing worm gear of the 8mm Eumig RS3000

Hi!

I have a Eumig RS3000 projector in need of repair.

I bought the worm gear from the "van-eck" website. The original is almost destroyed.

I removed the back cover, but I have no easy way to access the mechanism to replace it.

Does anyone have any idea how I can do this?

Hi There, This will be somewhat of an operation as you have to disassemble the complete projector part from the mirror box part. it is because you need to loosen the screws that hold the bronze bearings of the main axle in place and tilt it just enough to create room to geth the gear out. but acces is very limited
