  • Thunderbird trailer reels ...

I know that Thunderbird Films put out seemingly countless 200ft trailer reels. Does anybody have a list of all the reels AND, what was on said reels? I'm trying to figure out as to whether specific titles were ever released, even if only in the form of a trailer. I thank, ahead of time, whoever can help in this

Didn’t compile the list but was surprised there were so many. Explains pinky trailers you associate with Derann. Calamity Jane being an example.

          Osi,

In past threads, Phil Moors has posted that the UK Reel Image site has a Thunderbird catalogue available for download. The trailers can be found on pages 32 & 33. Phil says this is by no means a complete listing.

                Mike,

You're very welcome! In the middle section of that download (the page numbers jump around) is a list of new trailer reels. It goes up to #143!

Interesting that Thunderbird made them available in silent versions. I rarely come across those.

The black & white sound prints generally tend to be very good quality. The colour versions are also good but have all faded to a certain extent. It is amazing how many and the wide variety of genres they released plus each reel had 4 trailers.
