There is no "forward" option on my Chinon 2000GL Silent Movie Projector
I recently purchased at Chinon 2000GL Silent Movie Projector from all places, Goodwill! Unbelievably, when I opened the box which looked quite old, the projector appeared to have never been used as it was still in all of it original packaging. The only thing missing regrettably are the instructions. Of course I immediately started to do research on line, however, there wasnt much information on this particular projector. The problem I encountered when I did find a few bits of information about the Chinon 2000GS, is that it appears there is a slightly different version of this model than the one I have. The main difference seems to be that my projector doe not have a "forward" option. What I meant is that on the dial that is located on the bottom left of the projector the options on my projector are as follows: rewind, reverse, still, project, thread, and of course off. However, on my Chinon 2000GL Silent Projector, on this dial, as I mentioned, there is no "forward" option. It seems not having a forward option on the dial must be rare. Does this now make sense? I would be very appreciative for any kind of advice or insight you might have concerning this issue. Thank you..
