Well, at least for me! In the 20 years that I have been on this forum, I don't think I have ever asked this question ... What classic TV shows do you have on Super 8? I'll start ... This is your life: Laurel and Hardy, The Jack Benny show, guest starring Bob Hope. The Howdy Doody show, Andy's Gang ( kids TV show ) The Lone Ranger ( episodes 1,2,3 and one of the final color episodes), Hollywood Palace ( final episode ). The Silent Partner ( Buster Keaton), Errol Flynn TV episode. Abbott and Costello, "The old actors home" ( which included the best ever "Who's on First" routine). I'm sure that there are others. This doesn't include tv cartoons. So, what TV rarities have you run across? Note: I'm speaking of those actual TV shows that weren't also released in theaters

I had forgotten about all of those Star Treks! Live to have a few of them. I didn't know about all of those "Hollywood and the Stars" episodes. I have "The Swashbucklers" and the one concerning the early musicals. I'm betting that the Marilyn Monroe one was one largely sold but not always known to be of that series. I also have that hour long Bogart documentary, released by Niles, but the color is a little faded, the black and white scenes being sepia, of course, but the color "interview" portions being rather dicey.

Hi Osi -
I have The Girl From Uncle episode The Mother Muffin Affair with Boris Karloff as Mother Muffin. A classic and very fun episode with Karloff. He commented that when he saw himself in the makeup and costume he said “I look like a $2 whore!”
This is a standard 8mm sound print not super 8. I’ve only seen this listed once.
I also have Bela Lugosi on You Asked For It performing The Vampire Bat Illusion in super 8 sound.
My favorite tv oddity is a 400’ color collection of tv commercials with horror movie characters. A terrific reel with Boris Karloff for A-1 Steak Sauce. Several of Frankenstein hawking Bic Pens, Shasta Soda and various vehicles. Dr Jekyll And Mr Hyde and Dracula as well as Count Chocula and Frankenberry. Don’t forget the famous King Kong Volkswagen commercial. Fun stuff!
Gotta love this hobby. You never know what you’ll come across.

The Bogart 2x600 super 8 documentary turned up as an extra on one Bogart’s Blu rays.
Cant remember which one. The colour is still faded.i think it was made in 1969 when there was a revival of inter3t in his movies.
