Hello all, I'm hoping to get some help with a Zeiss Ikon Movilux DS8. I'm looking to digitize my parents old 8mm films. I setup the machine, but have no manual. I found one youtube video where it shows the film being fed into the top front by pressing a button down. The machine won't take the film and run it through. I took the cover off and the big belt that looks to run the reel hubs (if thats what you call them) seems loose. The lower hub occasionally moves but not consistently. Not sure if there are other belts, I couldn't see any. Is that where I should start? If so is there a good source in Canada for the belts? Thanks for any help.

Belts are almost allways the first thing you need to swap in ald old machine that has been standing for years. i dont know if you have a good place for belts in Canada but here in Holland there is the company van eck video services and they ship worldwide. -
