    Agreed Paul, it would have been nice if the rear sprung gate had caught on with all S8/16 projector manufacturers.
    Your masking, what a nice touch and sadly missing from most commercial cinemas these days. Masking also helps to visually enhance image contrast, good work Paul.

      It certainly helps to improve the image. As Alan mentions it is missing from most of the "multiplex" cinemas, Decent presentation no longer exists in most of them!! Ken Finch.
