Wurker tape splicer

For the last week or so this little "Wurker" tape splicer has been working overtime. I bought it back in the early 1990s, and although its more hands on compared to the Agfa F8S automatic, which I still use from the 1970s, the "Wurker" is a ideal tape splicer for stereo tracks.

I took some photos yesterday, one thing, that is a must for any film work is hand 8mm/16mm winders. I never use the projector for rewinding films 8mm or 16mm, always by hand.

Very odd colour! Mine - and every other one I've ever seen - is black!

A couple of things worth mentioning, is that if you have trouble with the splice taking, lightly clean the ends with a little bit IPA and soft rag, just after cutting the film on the splicer, before making the splice.

Regarding getting splices track down Hama Cinekett 3756... VE10... those splices work as well.
