    Nick, as I understand,it's not exactly the same stock as diapositive film as movie stock needs an extra protecting lay to limit scratches when the stock passes through camera and projectors. You can use diapositive film as movie film but then...higher risk of scratches. That said, I don't believe that makes any difference regarding the process.

      Kodak 50D Negative is processed ECN-2 results are excellent when scanned professionally. I get to use it from time to time with my media work and personal fun projects.
      Nearly got a Bray E6 processor a few years ago but that was quickly snapped up, but something like the Osiris or one of the other rotary ones may be the way to go when I get time for it.
