Most collectors will know that WDHM released several 400' reels featuring edited shorts or extracts - e.g. 'A Walt Disney Christmas' and 'Disney's Greatest Chases' I've tended to assume that Disney produced these specifically for Super 8 release, but I'm far from certain, so hopefully some forum members know? I'm wondering if at least some might have (e.g.) been edited down from productions of around 23 mins that could fill a half hour USA TV slot?
