Any place here in the US that can split 8mm film

Looking for a way to have a outdated roll of film 8mm split to use for leader instead of developing it is there a place in the US that’ll do this?

Any place that processes R8 would have to slit it: for example Dwayne's Photo.

Question is would they be willing and what would be the cost compared to buying R8 leader?

It came out of a camera I bought looked like it had been used but don’t want to have it developed its to expensive unless it can be done with at home with certain chemicals.
