A friend of mine has recently acquired a GS. The rewind is very slow, any ideas, alternatively is there anyone out there who could sort out this problem and also give it a thorough service. Many thanks.

I carried out this work a few years ago with those motors and have no trouble since. however using the projector to rewind film is not a good idea, those little plastic gears are getting old now, like the projector, I feel these days, a pair of "hand winders" for rewinding film are a must for both 8mm and 16mm.
