My 8mm Collection

This post is for any curious and interested parties in seeing the titles of my fairly common collection of 8mm films. I just am too lazy to list these in a document so I have provided close up photos. I hope this will suffice. Enjoy!

Graham Ritchie What an eye! Yes the "Hard Days Night" is a film I bought as a teenager. I sent away for it cause I thought it would be cool to have a film of the Beatles. It's a silent Std. 8mm promotional film. I guess you can say this was the first film in my collection.

Let's face it: labeling your films is just one small step towards personal sanity! I got my first ones when I was 17 years old: they were a lot fewer. my eyes were a lot sharper and my life was a lot less complicated. -I could tell them apart on sight most of the time: at the very worst I looked at the leader and I knew.

Things have progressed to the point that when I pull one off the shelf, not only does it not just leap out at me what it is, but even after I figure it out I might just say "When did I get this?" -and sometimes even "WHY?".

(When I reach that point with films I've personally made, I shall seek help!)

That's a lovely collection you have there Janice. Not just by the Laurel and Hardy films (of which you have some of the boys' best) but all the others too, it's clear that you are a lady of impeccable taste.

Thanks guys for your wonderful comments. I'm so late in the film collecting arena compared to so many of you. I'm just glad to be in the game and I totally enjoy the company.
