  • Elmo K100SM lamp issue

    Hi everyone,

I just bought an Elmo K100SM projector and it worked pretty well for the first time I tried. Later that day I tried again and this time the lamp did not lighting. I am certain that the problem is not with the lamp because I bought a new one and it does not work either. So my guess that the issue is somekind of electrical problem. Do you have any idea?

    Corroded lamp socket?

Welcome Botond! If you have a multimeter...I would check the two wires going to the lamp socket to see it power is going to the socket. If the answer is yes...then as Nantawat suggests...it could be a corroded socket or wires not making good contact. If the socket is corroded you can pull the bulb out and back in several times. This sometimes will break down the corrosion to make a better contact with the lamp prongs.
