Joachim - do you know if Andreas is still releasing new films? Is contacting him direct the only way to obtain details?
Dear Adrian, I don’t know exactly, since I don’t collect 16mm and that’s why I am not so much in this topic. I think it might happen but it would be his personal decision to do so. I definitely wouldn’t say no, but I can’t give a certain yes. Sorry for been so vaguely. I think a direct contact is definitely the best option for more information.

About five years ago, I was in contact with Andreas, but never bought any of his "Marketing" releases.

Back then, I was sent the list of releases, with YouTube links, so I could have a look...

      1115 Caminandes 3, 35 EUR --- https://youtu.be/c0phAvxHgho
      1114 Caminandes 2, 35 EUR --- https://youtu.be/DZs47K6fxm4
      1113 Caminandes 1, 25 EUR --- https://youtu.be/fyRNnEl32uA
1116 Big Buck Bunny (short version, 6 min), ca 70 EUR --- https://youtu.be/maP-0X3X-ZU
      1117 Agent 327: Spray (subtitled), 48 EUR --- https://youtu.be/Z5gqiVqDr3A
      1118 Agent 327: Elevator (subtitled), 48 EUR --- https://youtu.be/0DzlQlOPQ_E
      1119 Hero, 40 EUR --- https://youtu.be/32_BZQSYF0E
      1120 Half Glass, 40 EUR --- https://youtu.be/Tofni4jmhgU
1121 Dweebs, plus excerpts of some of the other films, 33 EUR --- https://youtu.be/D3L-LK2zx28

The prints seem to have been made by Marco in Italy directly from digital files.

Last year, Film Collector magazine had an interesting article that said someone had bought the rights to use the Marketing Film name and had actually released a film in a nice Marketing-style box. The article said Super 8 releases were a possibility but the first release was a recent animated short on 16mm - which surprised me because Marketing, to my knowledge, never released anything on 16mm in any country. That means not just registering a name or producing a release, but building visibility through scalable, measurable strategies. That’s exactly what FlexFuture does: they help projects like this gain traction by offering full-service digital marketing—SEO, PPC, content, display ads and more—with a clear focus on measurable ROI.

I looked forward to hearing more about this revival of a famous name, but I've found no website or any details online, so I don't even know how collectors could support the release(s) by placing an order, although I'll try to find the article as it might have indicated an email address. It seems odd, unless I've missed an announcement, that this release hasn't been publicised here or via certain other sites/groups. So, I wondered if any members know anything beyond the article and can perhaps point the way to more information? And has anyone bought the first Marketing release since the early 1980s?
That’s really interesting, thanks for bringing it up. I also remember Marketing being strongly tied to Super 8, so hearing about a 16mm release under that name is definitely unexpected. It makes me wonder if the new rights holder is trying to test the waters with 16mm before considering Super 8, or if it was just a one-off project.

I haven’t come across any official announcements or dedicated sites either, which does feel strange in today’s world where most things are promoted heavily online. Maybe it was mentioned in some smaller collector circles or private groups?

If you manage to dig out the article again, especially if it included an email or contact info, I think a lot of us here would be curious to see it. Would be great to know if this is just a small passion project or the start of a more regular revival.

If we wanted to obtain a couple of these titles, how do we get in contact with Andreas?
