  • Projectors in comic books

Hi all! As we all know, we have the magnificent topic "Projectors in movies" in this forum. I now came across a film projector in a Flemish comic book and had the idea to add this topic "Projectors in comic books", as it seems interesting to share (eventual) appearances of these wonderful machines in this 'drawn media'. This one comes from the comic book "FC De Kampioenen - De lastige kampioentjes" (well known in Belgium (the same ones like the earlier post of mine, where a mad mechanic smashes down a running Fumeo projector (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBnC05RaXHc, from 24:00 on)).
So: if you have ever encountered a film projector in a comic book, please share! And off course the big question: does anyone recognize the projector brand of the one in this comic book?? ).

And here is another one (De geboorte van Urbanus)! Also we learn in this comic book how you can ruin a projection with a cigarette, placing a projector at 1 meter distance from the screen still gives a big picture, and a projector can blow up and explode like a balloon if it's in overdrive! I also have an idea what projector this one is based on in reality! Does anyone else see it??

haha that one in Urbanus reminds me of the Chinon C-100 and the one in de kampioenen of an Elmo. i love flemish comics, they were a big part of my youth (mainly Suske en Wiske)

Brian, this little known, and little used feature, was only available on the GS1200 PCOMW. Very rare indeed.

In "Tintin In Congo", the famous Belgian reporter shoots scenes that he projects later with the same device : the camera becomes projector.
