3D home movies ...

I was recently watching a documentary on The Marx Brothers, and there was a short couple of seconds from some 3D home movies. What camera was this? This would have been the 40's or 50's, and split the frame into halves, so there must have two lenses on it as well. Anybody know this camera?

It may have been a mirror device put in front of the camera rather than a special camera with two lenses, rather like two periscopes. I know they were made later, but don't know about at that time.

Bolex put out a stereoscopic system for their H16 camera and also a special lens for projectors in 1952.
