Hi All. I have one of these which works fine, giving a beautiful image. However, there is something rattling around in it. I don’t want to take it apart as, whatever it is, it’s not causing a problem. Has anyone had any experience of this and any knowledge of the possible cause?

Stripped and cleaned a few Michael. It will probably be the metal retainer come loose for the inner lenses behind the front big lens.

The small lenses are oh so fragile inside so be careful and only finger nip the inner retainer.

Thanks Lee. It’s been like this for the 11 years I’ve had it. Is it likely to affect the image if left alone? As I said above, thus far it’s not affected it.
