Revue Lux 80 (loses power when rewinding)

Hi friends,
after leaving my dilapidated Chinon SS1200 I bought a Revue Lux 80 that works great except when it's time to rewind, that when it reaches half the charge of the reel it loses power. Is there a lack of lubrication at any specific point? or any point to review? greetings to all!

I was about to say loose belt/weak reel clutch, only to find out that this model seems to have dedicated reel drive motor.




Therefore I can only hope that to be just slight mechanical issue, and not the motor itself that had gone weak. Would be quite an issue then.

The Revue Lux 80 Stereo is, of course, a badged Chinon SS1200.

Hi Maurice! i knew that chinon ss1200 and revue lux 80 are the same projector with different names, that's why i still keep my dilapidated chinon for parts
