8 X 8 & Home Movie Day CALL FOR ENTERIES DVD & Digital File can be sent in NTSC or PAL, but must originate from 8mm transfer. ( any original 8mm Films must be registered by Post, to avoid being lost). NO ENTRY CHARGE, but if you want your Disc, Card/Stick or Films returned then you must send stamps or International Postal Coupons for Return Postage. Entries not returned will be put into the Moving Image Coalition Archives. 8x8 & HMD c/o MIC, P.O. Box 92, Glenroy, Melbourne, VIC, 3046. AUSTRALIA.
SATURDAY February 12th 2022 Melbourne
8 X 8 PROCESSING WORKSHOP 8mm Black & White.
Afternoon Session 1pm to 3pm
The Workshop will include information about types of Movie Cameras available, how to use your camera, covering technical subjects like Animation, slow motion, different film stocks available, and Lighting techniques. This Workshop will include all students using a 8mm camera, which is provided on the day. Then Hand Processing, into Black & White. The Experimental results will then be screened. Students are encouraged to bring their own 8mm camera and Exposed 8mm B/W Film to be processed. All involved will receive a DVD copy of their films made on the day.

Screening 8mm, and Super 8 New Films of Independent & Home Movie Makers, from Australia, America and Europe.
