  • From 1974 - Super 8mm Monster Movie Contest

I was going through some old papers that I've held onto (for way too long!) and I came across this May 1974 clipping from the tabloid The National Star. They had a 4 page pullout about movie monsters that included this contest for a B&H projector and twelve 200' monster cutdowns.

I'm sure I entered, however I did not win......

I have an old copy of "Films for the Collector" (massive newspaper type thru the mail paper), and I am always amazed as to how many super 8 " Mom and Pop" companies there were in the late 70's, early 80's, but I think that most of these were people who bought large lots of prints wholesale and sold them under they're own "banner".

Can't find the projector. Bell&Howell 1615. Possibly a silent collection. Odd time for Bell&Howell.

              multi motion

Seem to have extra dial between reels!
