I replaced the belt in a DeJur 1000 projector that I got from the thrift store for $10, and it does not feed the film correctly. Did I throw off the timing or such where it feeds behind the lens?

Rick, good to see you made it over here. I'm sure someone will chime in with a solution. We have many good tech members here that should be able to figure this problem out.
Let me ask you this though, does the claw protrude outwards to grab the film? If your not sure try a test without film. Turn the projector on, with the lens open, and look for the claw as it moves in relation to the movement with the shutter. You can also try feeling for it with your finger, just light pressure though. If it's not protruding outward then it needs adjusted. That's were my knowledge ends LOL.
