I can't remove the 98z rear cover to check the belt, etc. I've removed the visible screws, but it won't come off. Any one know how to open it? Also can't find a free user manual.

I found 2 screws on the bottom that I didn't see before. I removed the rear cover and found a broken belt. I ordered a new one, but I cant figure out how to install it on to the large pulley. HELP!!Last edited by Don Elsass; March 16, 2022, 03:52 PM. -

I'm glad you were able to figure this out. I'm guessing that the 98Z is not a popular model here on the Forum. I've never come across one myself.Comment

I removed the back cover and some wiring came loose. I can't find a wiring diagram. Some of it was logically re-connected. There are 2 black wires and 2 white wires, but I only found 1 screw on plastic joiner. Are a the 4 wire ends joined together?Comment

I joined the 2 black wires and 2 white wires. Now I'm afraid to turn it on.Comment
