With the new Top Gun film now on general release at cinemas, it got me thinking - Was the original Top Gun ever released in Super 8?

That makes sense. I think the 16mm rentals continued into the late 1980's. Film Incorporated closed around 1989 and I imagine their inventory of 16mm prints were sold off around that time.Originally posted by Jose Artiles View PostComment

I was rather hoping that someone like Derann might have have released it seeing as they were still knocking out titles well in to the 90's.
Mind you even if one did come up no doubt I could never afford it!Comment
