    It obviously hasn't been used for quite a long time. You say the motor hums, perhaps the moving parts are seized or the drive belt (?) is broken.
    Note that it only runs Super 8 and Single 8, it will not run Regular 8.

    Need help with GOKO MiniVision viewer

    I am new to this site and hope someone can help. I recently took this Goko MiniVision off my dusty shelf to view or discard some of my old, old 8mm/Super 8 films.
    The light works, but the motor only hums. Doesn’t have sound, so I can’t use the excuse that it doesn’t know the words.
    So it may be the motor (more than likely) or the secondary in the transformer is defective.
    I do not see any part numbers on either part, so I don’t see how I can find substitutes.
