I have a Kodak moviedeck 475, when running 8mm film through the projector the film jumps at normal speed (18) but when I run at a slower speed it does not jump. I have checked for any film jams and see nothing. Does it need a cleaning or is something broken I am not aware of? Any help would be appreciated.

This problem could be that the shutter gear and cam are out of sink. Possibly the cam shaft needs reseating or lubricating. I'm just looking at the service manual that indicates these possible issues. If you would like a PDF of the service manual... PM me. Maybe you can isolate the problem. These projectors are not easy to work on however.
