My search for a Schneider Xenovaron F1.1 lens is over.

I got one yesterday. It's the lens I wanted back in the late 70's but never got one (too expensive). The one I got was attached to a Noris 322S projector. I fitted a new bulb, gave the projector a clean - and bingo! It worked. It runs quietly and smoothly. I celebrated by watching a Roadrunner cartoon. The Schneider lens really is as crisp as people say - and noticeably brighter than the Isco F1.3 lens on my Norisound 310. I'll give the 322S a service before any further use, but it's nice to feel happy. :-)

Norisound are nice projectors,ive had quite a few over the years. I still use xenovarons ,mostly because of the big picture possible at short throws.

I only have the f/1.3 but agree, they are great lenses.
