Hanimex Dual-Matic 500 Feed Roller Rubber

Hello,

I'm new to the forum.

I recently picked up a Hanimex Dual Matic 500 so I can go through a whole bunch of Super 8 and 8 film.
Unfortunately the feed roller rubber fell apart the moment it was engaged.
Failing finding a spare part, what are some things I need to consider if I were to use an alternative. I'm fairly certain I can find some rubber or nylon tube that will fit, but I have no idea how it will affect the film.

Can anyone provide advice on either a spare part or suitable replacement?

Not sure if this feed roller from a Bell & Howell Super 8 projector would work? These are sold new online, and here is a link.
