I am pretty sure that this company has been talked about previously, but I don't remember it. Therefore, who knows much about RBC Films and they're releases? I know that they released, with permission, the sound Chaplin features, and they were located in Hollywood, and it was some form of film library, but beyond that, I am clueless.

There is not much out there about them. They used to run a 16mm film rental library, and are mentioned as being involved in other films as recently as 2012 (see: https://www.oldies.com/product-view/2207KD.html ).

Logo description and capture by Ryan Froula

      (1973)
      RBC Films
Logo: Just a slide that says "rbc films" in a stylized font and below it, in a smaller serif font, the address, "hollywood, ca 90038".

FX/SFX: Just the fading in and fading out of the slide.

      Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Extremely rare, almost to the point of extinction. This was discovered before both programs on the 1978 Magnetic Video release of A Woman of Paris and Sunnyside. It may also appear on extant 16mm prints of Chaplin films distributed by RBC Films.

      Editor's Note: None.
If you have access to IMDBPro you can get more info on the RBC Film Group at:

Maybe another forum member has access to IMDBPro and get share what they find.

Thank you for those two posts. I have "The Great Dictator", and it has that logo, as well as a very long title card explaining the rights to screenings and when they expire. I hope that someone else can add more.
