As Star Wars and Raiders of The Lost Ark are two of the most revered films available on super 8mm, I think it is appropriate to inform you that the man who worked as a Production Designer on both these films, Norman Reynolds, who won Oscar's for both, died a few days ago age 89
As well as these two classic films he was also Production Designer for The Empire Strikes Back, The Return of The Jedi, Empire of The Sun and Alien 3 amongst others. The Art Director in such films as Superman, Superman 2 and, once again, Star Wars IV, and a second unit director for The Exorcist III.
