It's truly sad to see. I still have my vhs boxed set from wh Smith Dances with Wolves. They did a long special edition edit of the movie....
            Massive box, brochure etc etc.

All this sellers items are like that. A complete clown 🤡 Sealed in plastic with silly prices attached. Maybe his customers are Hollywood elite. 💩for brains and snorting lines of white powder.

I have loads of films on VHS tapes and cannot give them away. The charity shops do not accept them any more. Having said that, I understand that there are a few rarities that have never been available on other formats and there is a guy in Scotland who is collecting them As he believes the format will make a comeback like LP records. I do not think this seller and quite a few others on Ebay live in the same world as the rest of us. The really sad thing about vhs tapes is they end up in land fill as at present it is not cost effective to recycle the component parts. There are a few companies that do this but you have to pay them to do so including the cost of sending them! Ken Finch 😳

Yes, there is a big difference in price and engineering between making a turntable for Vinyl and a VHS recorder/player. A big barrier to the comeback he is thinking of.

There're literally TONS of bozo seller selling what he/she though to be a gold mine, and will never ever realize nor admit that it's actually just a big pile of 💩...

... and what is even more amazing, is that, occasionally, some poor sucker with more bucks than brains, will actually buy them, only to find out that the VHS of Godfather can be bought at nearly any thrift store for a dollar! Tragic! How come all the big money, goes to the most brainless? Just another one of those questions that, if you have to keep your sanity, you don't ask.
