DeVry 2830 projector Sound Amplifier. Does anyone have a schematic or any details on this? Or at least how to connect these very strange plugs?

I put photos up here: https://imgur.com/a/g57h1my

Pics 5&6: The plug that looks like |o| and is circled in Blue fits in the plug that is circled in red on the speaker, but that cable comes FROM the speaker just above it circled in blue.

I've plugged a mic in but I can't test it till I can connect it to the speaker.

I always try to help with queries.

The DeVry was very popular with the American armed forces during the second world war. It was designed as a two-case outlift, and for ease of carrying the separate amplifier was housed in the loudspeaker case. This evened up the weight for carrying.

Sorry, but I find your photographs rather confusing, I can't see any evidence of a long loud speaker cable which might be something like 50 feet long.

Are there only two rather short cables? If so, they probably both connect to the projector, one possibly for audio, and the other a supply to the exciter lamp.

DeVry was ultimately sold to Bell & Howell.

Oh shit your the first person I've come across who knew anything about this. Yes the 50 ft cable to the speaker has the Jack that looks like |o|. Where do I plug that into? You probably thought that was the 110v cable. I left the 110v out of the pic because I knew what that was.

The two from the amp have the large and small jacks that lol like the inverse of this: ( )

what I mean by inverse is that they are both female and the parentheses is where something plugs into them.

do you know where I could find a schematic? Or any other info? I can't figure out where the speaker is supposed to plug into the amp for the life of me

The information that I gave above came from a book "The Home Cinema - Classic Home Movie Projectors 1922-1940".
Other than that, I regret that I cannot help any further. as I have no personal knowledge of this projector.
