Can "7th Voyage" & "Golden Voyage" (each 4x200') be spooled onto 2 x 400'?

I knew both "7th Voyage" and "Golden Voyage" of Sinbad were released as 4x200' respectively.

But as we all knew sometime each reel is not a full 200'. Just in case you have once spliced them, can they be spooled onto a 400' reel for each title? (though reaching to the edge).

ps: the reason I asked because an unknown seller as well as not a hobbyist offering me 2 x 400' and said it contained all together.

2x200ft should fit onto most 400ft spools. There were a few with very big centres (held only 350ft) that wouldn't be usable for that, but not many. However I doubt very much that all four would fit a single 400ft one even one with a very small centre - more like impossible.

I believe if you spliced the 4 parts together you'd have a very full 600' reel.

Thanks folks. Now I know... it is a 600' reel each. He just did not have any idea with the reel size but once he said 8" I knew it is 600'. So I 'll take them.



Doug in the old forum you said that Golden was recalled and re-edited. So the new edit version is totally different with the previous 4 X 200'?

It's been a long while since I've watched that first edit. I recall that part one actually started in the middle of the feature, which is totally different than the newer edit.
